The Enterprise is transporting several diplomatic delegations to a conference on Babel regarding the future of the mineral-rich planet Coridan. Among the passengers are Spock's parents, Ambassador Sarek and Amanda. There is obviously a chill between father and son owing to Spock's choice of pursuing a career in Starfleet.
Journey is taking over the Las Vegas Strip this fall with a limited engagement inside The Colosseum at Caesars Palace October 9 - 26, 2019. Tickets will go on sale to the public Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m. May 26, 2015 Without any dialogue, this video game tells a story through its visuals and the majestic score, composed by Austin Wintory. The music is phenomenal. There is not another musical score for any video game that amounts to Journey, and I'm divided in saying this because, even though i love many great scores, this one is just the best.
Unknown to Spock or his mother is the fact that Sarek is seriously ill. There is also much tension among the delegations and a spy on board is transmitting coded messages to a ship that attacks the Enterprise.
With Captain Kirk wounded in an earlier knife attack, Spock is in temporary command just as his father needs a transfusion that only he can provide. Many good reviews already. Just wanted to add that Reggie Nalder should have won an Emmy for his portrayal of the Andorian ambassador Shras. The scene after Kirk was attacked, when Shras spoke to Spock is remarkable.
The first time I saw this episode, it gave me goosebumps. Even to this day, I have rarely scene an actor portray an alien so good. Words can't describe it. I know part of it was due to the fire that marred his appearance. But his accent and cadence was so outworldly. Every wannabee alien actor should watch this.
